Overview

Tsubaki Conveyor Systems India Pvt Ltd (TCSI) is a Tsubaki company having Tsubakimoto Chain Co. and Tsubakimoto Bulk Systems Corp., Japan as shareholders.

TCSI has established strong presence in Bulk Materials & Unit Materials Handling space in India and overseas. with a supply record of over 5000 installations of various types of conveyors, TCSI is a preferred choice of all customers for materials handling solutions.

History

In 1989, as part of diversification, Mahindra Engineering and Chemical Products Ltd. (MECP), a Mahindra Group company, entered into technical collaboration with Tsubakimoto Bulk Systems Corp., Japan (TBS). MECP introduced high performance Chain Bucket Elevators and Chain. Conveyors to Indian Cement industry in association with Tsubaki. Over the years, MECP established a mark for itself as supplier of quality products and gained acceptance of large number of customers from Indian Cement industry. MECP expanded the product range to add Apron Feeders, Coal Feeders, Screw Conveyors, Belt Bucket Elevators, Pan Conveyors and Belt Conveyors for Cement, Fertilizers, Steel, Power and allied industries. MECP also introduced Unit Materials Handling products, comprising of conveyor systems for Paint Shop and Assembly Lines for automotive industry and factory automation applications.

Materials Handling Business of MECP was transferred to Mahindra Conveyor Systems (MCS) in 2010. In 2011, the company set up a new manufacturing facility at Pirangut, near Pune to cater to increasing demand. In July-2014, Tsubaki Group acquired majority stake in the company leading to formation of JV Company, Mahindra Tsubaki Conveyor Systems Pvt. Ltd (MTC). Since then, Tsubaki has been working to expand it’s business in the Indian market, focusing on bulk handling conveyors and unit materials handling products

In March 2022, Tsubaki Group acquired balance stake in Mahindra Tsubaki Conveyor Systems, making it a wholly owned subsidiary of the Group. Consequent to this acquisition, the company name has been changed to ‘Tsubaki Conveyor Systems India Pvt. Ltd. (TCSI)’
