JOB PURPOSE :(Role Summary)
- Ensures daily work loading, material loading and drawing receipt.
- Supervises work and ensures output as per plan. Ensures production order closure.
- Ensuring the work pack completion as per assembly ‘s/sub assembly.
- Ensuring FIR and making it ready for dispatch of all items required for project as per LOP.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Education : B.E (Mechanical / Production)/DME
- Experience : (No. of yrs) 5-6 yrs
- Specific Experience: Experience in Industrial Heavy Equipment manufacturing company
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Allocates work to workers on daily basis.
- Execution of production processes as per plan, acquiring material & ensuring completion as per target dates.
- Responsible for Shift Output, CI task, taking follow up with PPC, Engineering & QA for material, drawing & quality related issues. Setting up quality-control procedures.
- Monitoring fitting, welding & assembly processes and conduct in-process inspection.
- Arranging for in-house trial for inspection.
- Training workmen for quality improvement, safety, process improvement.
- Maintaining check-sheets, project status data, rework data.
- Shop floor management.
- Implementing KAIZEN & POKA-YOKE and ensuring 5’s & safety in shop.
- Ensures completeness of all operations as per organization’s quality standards
- Does supervision and resolves issues related to work and manpower.
- Maintains Records related to Production. Ensuring work pack completeness and FIR of all ready items.
- Ensure compliance to ISO and OHSAS procedures.
- Develops fixtures for improving output and quality.
- Responsible for preventative maintenance to ensure good working condition of equipment’s.
- Job clearance form QA as per QAP.
- Responsible for handling budget & expenditure of consumables and Manpower cost.
- Provide technical support & training to the team
- Analysis of operational issues & installation of new equipment’s.
SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Should be ready to work in 2 shifts.
- Knowledge of painting technology.
